Meet Base Next: The Next Chapter for Entegral

For more than 20 years, Entegral has been building technology around one clear purpose: simplifying real estate. Now, we’re taking that purpose forward with the launch of Base Next, alongside a refreshed Entegral brand and a new website.

Base Next is the next generation of Base, rebuilt from the ground up as a real estate operating system that brings more of the work of running an agency together into one connected platform.

Built on 20 years of real estate technology

When we launched our first online Office Management System in 2005, dial-up internet was still in use and most business software was installed directly on PCs. As technology changed, so did Entegral. We moved our products to AWS in 2011, launched the first version of Base in 2018 and continued developing the platform with input from the real estate businesses that use it every day.

By 2025, advances in cloud technology, development tools, and AI allowed us to rethink what Base could become. Rather than continuing to build on the existing platform, we decided to start again, combining new technology with more than two decades of real estate and technical experience.

Estate agencies rely on technology across almost every part of their operations, but these tools do not always work together. Base Next connects more of that work by bringing listings, relationships, workflows, deals, data, and intelligence into one real estate operating system.

Available on desktop and mobile, Base Next gives teams access to the same connected platform whether they’re in the office or working on the move. Additional functionality will be introduced through a phased rollout over the coming months.

A refreshed Entegral

Alongside Base Next, we’ve refreshed the Entegral brand and launched a new website. The new identity better reflects the business we are today while bringing the wider Entegral platform together more clearly.

Our focus on real estate hasn’t changed. Entegral remains an independent South African property technology business, building specifically for an industry in which we’ve worked for more than two decades. Base Next carries that experience forward and gives us a platform on which we can continue to build as real estate and technology evolve.
