An even more power-full property search
We’re empowering our clients with a new power supply field, which we feel is quite a welcome addition considering how home owners are struggling with loadshedding issues in South Africa and the world wide move to more sustainable energy and water recycling. The new field provides a multiselect specification of electricity options for a property (e.g. backup battery, solar panels) and can be selected in Base or send through from external listing systems via our Sync API.
You can integrate this into your Flex real estate website as a toggle filter option shown below, allowing consumers to search for related properties. The fields are also included in the property details. If that’s not enough you can opt to have a dropdown with a finer selection of electricity options for your users.
Speaking of power, Flex offers the industry’s only platform that allows you to customise your property search, allowing websites to be localised and personalised to great extent.
A similar water supply field was also added to for instance indicate rain water harvesting features and both fields will update to supported portals. Further rental mandate fields were also added.

We’ve integrated a backup power field for our MyProperty Namibia and MyProperty South Africa property portals, so be sure to update your property listings to help buyers or tenants with their detailed searches.
